Born in Hong Kong, in 1961, Richard Leung, emigrated to the United States in 1975 with the rest of his family. He went to college and majored in business and art. He joined his father and brother in the world of art as the youngest of the Leung artists, after having spent many years under his father's tutelage to develop inherent skill and to improve his technique.

Today, Richard Leung's paintings follow in the family tradition of creating beauty on canvas, depicting soft, dreamlike mountainscapes and tropical beaches.

Following to the footsteps of his father and brother, Richard Leung has had no trouble finding galleries eager to display his art. He makes his home with his parents in California.
