Последние сутки Geoff (вполне справедливо) бухтит в своем твиттере про The Weeknd, что "I think it's a load of bollox", "when someone asks to sample you and you refuse they should have the respect as a fellow artist to not use it" и "I don't wanna get paid... I just want my beat back".

On the 25th of June in the Tinning Plant of ArcelorMittal Poland in Krakow there will be a great event for music fans: a concert of the British band Portishead. This performance will herald this year’s Sacrum Profanum Festival, which will be held from the 14th till the 21st of September.
'There are only few bands that had to perform at Sacrum Profanum Festival. One of them is Portishead, which is currently working on its fourth studio album. An exceptional band in an exceptional place – the Tinning Plant of ArcelorMittal Poland in Krakow. This will certainly be one of the most important concerts of this year. We invite you to see it.’

На улице стеной шел дождь. Его тяжелые капли мерно стучали по крыше дома, умывая листья деревьев и придавая им какой-то особый оттенок зеленого. На улице стояло лето, начало августа. Пора, когда люди купаются в море, отдыхают с друзьями, гуляют по набережной, ну, или попросту занимаются всякой чепухой. Однако этот август как-то особо не выдался: неделю лили дожди; друзья либо уже уехали, либо еще не приехали; родители целыми днями пропадали на работе. Так что оставалось только страдать фигней в компании большого рыжего кота. ОНА вошла в комнату с большой чашкой в руках. В кружке - черный чай с корицей. Настроение - философское. В голове только одна мысль: "Как хорошо, что в старых домах большие окна и широкие подоконники". Через несколько минут ОНА уже сидела на одном из них, одергивая платье. На спине была все та же тату; в голове - все те же мысли; в кружке - тот же дымящийся чай; а из колонок тихо играл Portishead. ОНА вздохнула, прислушалась к дождю и мурчанью большого рыжего кота, пристроившегося у НЕЕ на коленях. Portishead для меня всегда было большим, чем просто музыкой. Это целая философия грусти; одинокой, но вместе с тем сильной женщины. Это не конвейер, это искусство. Вот так вот.

Почему на бесплатном домене? Дело в том, что это мой первый сайт.
Группа Portishead произвела на меня впечатление около года назад, когда я увидел клип на песню Only You. И вторая волна пришла с клипом Third. После это я уже послушал полностью их дискографию, послушал сольный альбом Бет, посмотрел клипы, концертные видео, и решил заглянуть в инет, чтобы найти российский ресурс по этой группе, иначе говоря фан-сайт. Но. Кроме вашего сообщества и одного неактивного сайта, ничего не нашел. Поэтому решил сам создать сайт.
Собственно ради того, чтобы пригласить вас на мой сайт, я и зарегестрировался в Live Journal. )

the future.......
so then
we spent the day discussing the future of the P as we are free...
well free of a deal and free of comitment... for now!
with the world being the way it is there are lots of options open......but if you lot have any bright ideas of how we should sell our music in the future lets us know , why not!
i dont think that were into giving out music away for free to be honest...it fukin takes ages to write and we have to heat our swimming pools.....!!!
