Compiled a 7-3 singles mark, playing mostly at the No. 3 spot during dual matches ?opened the season with a four-match winning streak at the Columbia Invitational (Sept. 16-17) ?went 1-1 at the USTA Invitational (Oct. 7-9) ?competed at the ITA Regional Championship (Oct. 20-22) ?advanced to the quarterfinals of the University of North Florida Invitational (Nov. 10-12) ?teamed with Alison Adamski to compiled a 4-3 double record ?the duo went 2-1 at the USTA Invitational (Oct. 7-9) ?the pair advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA Regionals (Oct. 20-21).
Spring 2006
Went 13-15 overall in singles action, while producing a 9-12 spring record at the No. 1 position ?went 11-9 in doubles play at the No. 1 position with Alison Adamski ?went 3-1 at the BIG EAST Tournament, clinching the win for the Red Storm against eighth-seeded Rutgers.
Fall 2005
Finished the fall 4-3 in singles (1-1 dual, 3-2 tournament) ?played mostly in the No. 1 singles and doubles ?earned first collegiate win against Queens College (Oct. 2) in the No. 1 spot ?qualified for the ITA Regionals ?advanced to the second round ?finished second in Flight A singles at the Bucknell Invitational ?went 5-2 in doubles action ?posted a perfect 5-0 doubles mark with Adamski ?the duo took first place of Flight B at the Bucknell Invitational.

Lettered in tennis, basketball and volleyball ?played in the International European Tennis Championships, at the Eddie Hier and Prince Cups.

Daughter of Elena and Andrew Tumsevits ... father played professional ice hockey in Lithuania from 1971 to 1987 ... grandfather Michael played professional volleyball in Lithuania ... a business management major.
Off The Court
Tumsevica, a business management major, aspires to open her own business after graduation. She says the most thrilling moment in her athletic career was competing at the BIG EAST Tournament last spring. When she’s not on the court, Tumsevica is actively involved with St. John’s student leadership program, L.E.A.P., and takes part in several community service events with her teammates, including Midnight Runs for the Homeless. Tumsevica also enjoys dancing, singing and composing music, and learning new languages.
